MONART CITY · MONART STUDIO VENTURES
What we do, and where to see it
Monart City is an interdisciplinary urban innovation studio in Ghana, founded in 2019. Our work runs in three
strands: security research for systems that must be able to prove their own history, research on combining
technologies around real problems, and urban innovation and education with communities across Sub-Saharan
Africa. Each card below says how far that piece of work has got and where on this site to look.

CELA™: Continuity-Enforced Lineage Architecture
A signature proves a record is genuine, not that the history around it is complete. CELA makes a recorded history tamper-evident, so a missing, reordered or rewritten step can be detected.
Status: seven of eight claimed security properties held in our own adversarial testing; two of those depend on how a deployment is set up. Post-quantum signatures for the history itself are planned.
Live
Signed website you can verify
The pages and files of monartcity.xyz are listed in a manifest signed with a classical (ECDSA-P256) and a post-quantum (ML-DSA-44) signature.
Check it: run the one-click verification in your browser. The page also has a post-quantum migration readiness assessment.
LiveWhitepaper
CELA v3 public brief
The public edition of the v3 whitepaper: what is built, which properties were tested and with what result, the limits of that evidence, and how to test CELA independently.
Get it: read it online or download the PDF. The full technical edition is shared under agreement.
Live check
CELA infrastructure monitor
A 3D view of every CELA layer, from the hardware source and host services to the signed history, the website signature and the Bitcoin anchor.
Check it: your browser verifies the snapshot against the site signature and re-checks the Bitcoin anchor with public block explorers. It shows the last manual refresh, not a live feed, and says how old it is.
Research & insight
How we think about technology, and what we follow.
Research
Constructive Technology and the research base
Our definition of Constructive Technology: combining AI, blockchain, Web3 and hardware around one problem instead of using each in isolation. Also the open community report and the research that led to CELA.
Curated
Quantum, AI and security news
Headlines we follow on quantum computing, AI and security, with global, Africa and Ghana coverage. Selected from outside sources, not our own results.
Urban innovation & community
Where the studio started: education, sustainable building and community work.
Programme
Mission and areas of work
Who we are and what we work on: digital infrastructure, urban technology, regenerative architecture and sustainable housing, community development, and policy research.
Programme
Built By YouTH and education
Our youth and education initiative: courses in regenerative architecture, cultural assimilation and community engagement, run with partner organizations.
Story
Stories from the field
Reports from DASA 2025, where we presented real estate tokenization and digital inclusion across Africa, and from the ESO Forum 2025 in Ghana.
Open roles
Work with us
Internships and volunteer roles for people who want to help build programmes, stories and partnerships. Leadership roles are still being defined.
